La prueba fue elaborada con los criterios técnicos exigidos por el Ministerio de Educación y movilizó a 83 aplicadores para 66 instituciones educativas seleccionadas de las 122 focalizadas en el proyecto.
Esta segunda evaluación, aplicada en forma muestral, tiene como objetivo medir los avances en la aplicación del proyecto, de manera especial, contrastar los logros de aprendizaje en Comunicación y Matemática de los estudiantes, antes y después de la aplicación del proyecto.
Como se sabe en las evaluaciones internacionales aplicadas a nuestro país en el desarrollo del pensamiento matemático y capacidades comunicativas, ocupamos el último y penúltimo lugar, y el proyecto entre otros objetivos, se ha propuesto disminuir los bajos rendimientos obtenidos por nuestros estudiantes en estas y otras áreas e insertarlos óptimamente al desarrollo de la modernidad.
Un equipo técnico seleccionado para el caso, ya viene procesando los resultados finales de la segunda evaluación y serán dados a conocer oportunamente a las autoridades del Gobierno Regional, autoridades educativas y la sociedad civil.
Como la comunidad educativa recordará, la primera evaluación fue en el año 2008, a pocos meses de iniciado el proyecto, y contó con la asesoría del Ministerio de Educación, los resultados de ésta permitieron elaborar la línea de base en el desarrollo del pensamiento matemático y comunicación de más de 8,600 estudiantes de EBR de la región Amazonas, y esta segunda evaluación al ser contrastada con la línea de base nos dirá cómo van los avances en términos de aprendizajes y del proyecto.
El proyecto Mejoramiento de la calidad educativa en 12 distritos de la zona rural de la Región Amazonas, para el año 2010 ha planificado impulsar la propuesta pedagógica integral, el nuevo modelo de gestión educativa, el fortalecimiento de los CONEI, COPALE y el COPARE, entre otras propuestas, con el fin de contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad educativa.
